“What Color is Love?”

The title and theme for the Kre8tive Kids 2010
Poetry Contest is “What Color is Love?” Poems should be written with this title and
theme in mind. The theme relates to the
fact that kids and adults should be open to accepting, respecting, embracing
and even loving people of different racial and cultural backgrounds. This, however, does not mean that race and/or
culture have to be written about as part of the poem…be Kre8tive.

Only one entry per person will be accepted. Entries must be submitted using the official
Kre8tive Kids entry form. Please type or
print your poem legibly so that it can be read.

Poems can not be more than 25 lines of text.

The contest is open to students in grades K – 12
